Illinois State Fair In August 2006, hundreds of people with disabilities showed up at Governor's Day and Republican Day at the Illinois State Fair. We were there to let our leaders know that people with disabilities are an important part of the voting population. Our bright yellow shirts were hard to miss. They stated: Life, liberty, and the pursuit of
